JD for Medical Transcriptionist and Coordinator

• Transcribe medical reports interpreted by Radiologist.
• Coordination with Patients, Doctors and staff.
• Experience in transcribing USG, CT, MRI, X-ray, IR and obstetric reports.
• Update patient data in medical system database.
• Managing patients before, during and after scans.
• Filling details of Form F for obstetrics scan.
• Update patient data in medical system database.
• Review and edit transcribed reports or dictated material for spelling, grammar, clarity,

Consistency and proper medical terminology.

• Return dictated reports in electronic form for radiologist review, correction, and signature, for inclusion in patients’ medical records.
• Accuracy in mapping, template selection, putting formats, spellings, making impressions, removing negative points from report etc.
• Time out – Verification of image count, patient name, identification number, age, sex, date and time of study.
• Checking the relevant and adequate clinical details.
• Maintain timeframe for the studies.
• Prioritization emergency / stat studies.
• Use the standard templates, macros and short cuts /auto text.
• Maintain patient privacy.
• Team work.
