Job Description: Business Analyst – Climate Fund

Background: We are pioneering a private equity fund focused on combating climate change across Asia. Our mission involves mobilizing capital and investing in sectors crucial for energy transition, e-mobility, sustainable agriculture, environmental resources, circular economy, and more.

Job Title: Business Analyst: Climate Fund

Job Nature: Full-time and currently remote with potential for on-site in Gurgaon in the future. Currently, a contractual role with a regular stipend and based on performance can be converted to an employment relationship.

Expected duration: 6-12 months (extendable)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Research on the climate investing landscape and the private equity sector
2. Develop and maintain frameworks related to ESG, climate investment and impact measurement
3. Stakeholder Management: Establish and nurture relationships with stakeholders to foster platform growth and coordinate various initiatives.
4. Refinement and maintenance of materials for stakeholders. E.g. Pitch decks, case studies, data room, sector landscape
5. Fundraising Support: Assist in fundraising activities by providing valuable insights and co-ordination with different entities.
6. Fund Formation: Collaborate on documentation and liaise with legal teams, advisors, and regulators during the fund formation process.
7. Initiative Ownership: Take ownership of associated initiatives aimed at supporting the fund's objectives.

Requirements:

1. Interest in climate change and ESG: Interest in addressing climate change and sustainability through investment strategies.
2. Corporate Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in MS Office suite.
3. Educational Background: Graduation or above in finance, economics, sustainability, or related fields.
4. Eagerness to Learn: Proactive attitude towards learning and willingness to explore new work streams.
5. Preferences: Experience in strategy, corporate development, program management, fund raising, etc.

Education: Completed graduation or above
