Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Admission Counselor to join our team at East Point Group of Institutions. As an Admission Counselor, you will play a vital role in the admissions process, assisting prospective students in their journey to become part of our esteemed institution. This is a full-time position based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• Junior level position with 1 to 3 years of experience in admissions counseling or a related field
• Strong knowledge of the admissions process and educational programs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively counsel and guide students in their career choices
• Proven track record in tele-calling and convincing people
• Experience in a BPO or customer service environment is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and admission management software

Roles and Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for prospective students and provide guidance throughout the admissions process
• Conduct campus tours and provide detailed information about our programs, facilities, and admission requirements
• Assist students in filling out the necessary application forms and documents
• Evaluate applicant qualifications and make recommendations for admission
• Stay up-to-date with the latest admission policies, trends, and regulations
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless admissions process
• Maintain accurate records of applicant data and update the admission database
• Participate in admission events, such as career fairs and college fairs, to promote our institution
• Provide career counseling and guidance to prospective students
• Utilize effective communication and convincing skills to answer inquiries and address concerns
• Handle tele-calling and follow-up activities to ensure a high conversion rate
• Work closely with the academic team to align admissions with program requirements
