Key Responsibilities

Teaching and Curriculum Support:

• Assist in delivering lectures, labs, tutorials, and workshops under the guidance of senior faculty members.
• Prepare instructional materials, including lecture slides, lab instructions, and assessment materials.
• Help in the development and updating of course content to align with academic standards and industry requirements.

Laboratory and Practical Support:

• Supervise and guide students in laboratory sessions and ensure the effective and safe use of equipment.
• Assist in setting up practical experiments and projects, facilitating hands-on learning.

Student Mentorship and Support:

• Act as a mentor to students, helping them understand course content, complete assignments, and develop practical skills.
• Provide academic counseling and guidance to help students succeed in their studies.

Assessment and Grading:

• Participate in student evaluations, grading assignments, and examinations under the direction of senior faculty.
• Provide constructive feedback to students on their performance.

Research and Professional Development:

• Engage in research activities under the mentorship of senior faculty to contribute to the academic output of the institution.
• Participate in faculty development programs, workshops, and seminars to stay updated with teaching methodologies and technical knowledge.

Institutional and Departmental Support:

• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum planning, and accreditation processes.
• Assist with institutional activities, including student orientation programs, academic events, and other campus activities.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering with Master’s degree in the relevant engineering field (e.g., M.E., M.Tech in ECE, EEE, Mechatronics, Biomedical, Chemical Engineering, Civil, Computer Science, Cyber Security, AI&DS etc.).
• Experience: No prior teaching experience is required, though internship or project experience related to the field of expertise is desirable.
• Technical Skills:
• Basic knowledge of core engineering concepts in the relevant domain.
• Familiarity with tools, software, and equipment used in the specific engineering field (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, Python, etc.).
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts in a simple manner.
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport with students and colleagues, adapt to a dynamic academic environment, and be open to constructive feedback.
