Position: Assistant Professor

Department: Computer Science Engineering

Location: EASA College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore

Minimum Qualification: ME / M.Tech in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) or Information Technology (IT)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Teaching: Deliver high-quality instruction in undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology.
2. Curriculum Development: Develop, update, and enhance curriculum and course materials for Computer Science Engineering programs.
3. Research: Conduct and publish high-quality research in reputable journals. Encourage and guide students in research activities and projects.
4. Student Mentoring: Provide academic advising and mentoring to students, guiding their academic progress and career planning.
5. Laboratory Supervision: Design, supervise, and improve laboratory sessions, ensuring that students gain practical experience in the latest technologies and methodologies.
6. Assessment and Evaluation: Prepare, administer, and grade examinations, assignments, and projects to assess student performance.
7. Committee Participation: Serve on academic and administrative committees, contributing to the governance and improvement of the institution.
8. Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development activities to stay current with advancements in the field.
9. Community Engagement: Participate in outreach activities to promote the Computer Science Engineering department and engage with the community.
10. Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues in interdisciplinary research and projects, fostering a collaborative academic environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Qualification: ME / M.Tech in Computer Science Engineering or Information Technology related fields.
• Teaching Experience: Prior teaching experience at the collegiate level is preferred.
• Research Experience: A strong record of research and publications in reputable journals.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in programming languages, software development, algorithms, data structures, databases, and other core areas of Computer Science.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to mentor and motivate students.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively.
