Lookout: We are seeking a dynamic System Test Architect for an esteemed client of ours who is on a mission to lead the digital transformation of molecular diagnostics.

Position Summary:


The successful System Test Architect candidate will report to the Vice President of Engineering and will work closely with other functions of the company, including technology, marketing, services, and operations. The System Test Architect is responsible for improving Customer perception of quality by ensuring all the applications developed as a part of new product introduction satisfy customer needs. A successful System tester would do both verification and validation of the product.


Responsibilities:


●       Design, implement, and continuously improve the system-level test strategy in compliance with the quality criteria set by the organization.

●       Create and execute test cases that cover Customer specific scenarios covering Functional and non-functional requirements /usage scenarios

●       Define the test plans needed to be executed at the manufacturing site

●       Continuously improve the test design and execution process to improve efficiency & prevent defect leakages to the field.

●       Part of the team responsible for making a Go/No-Go decision on the release readiness of the product

●       Upkeep of the test infrastructure

●       Identify and proactively work with various stakeholders to resolve any risks associated with the deliverables

●       Document and communicate the processes and metrics to various stakeholders in the organization

 

Required Skills:


●       Prior experience in testing software on actual and/or emulated hardware

●       Good Understanding of industry standards such as IEC 62304 for testing medical devices and IEEE 730 for Software QA Processes

●       Demonstrated an ability to architect the test design for a complex product/system

●       Proven experience in working with various interfaces and industry-standard protocols in data acquisition

●       Good understanding of system design

●       Prior Experience in designing/implementing/delivering test automation projects to improve the efficiency of the V&V process

●       Working knowledge in CI/CD and hands-on experience in tools like Jenkins

●       Understanding of test management and project planning tools like Jira

●       Ability to understand the "connected" devices concept to work with public and private cloud configurations.

●       Strong aptitude, proactive communication, and an ability to learn fast.

●       Open to relocate to Bangalore.

●       Open to travel internationally


Qualification:


●       Must have Bachelor's/Master’s in engineering

●       10+ years of experience in System testing of healthcare equipment/ medical devices / industrial grade products / critical infrastructure
