Lookout: We are seeking an experienced Manager - Verification & Validation for an esteemed client of ours who is on a mission to lead the digital transformation of molecular diagnostics.

Position Summary:

Manager - Verification & Validation will report to the VP of Engineering and will work closely with other functions of the company, including technology, marketing, services, and operations. The Manager - Verification & Validation is responsible for improving Customer perception of quality by ensuring all the applications developed as a part of new product introduction satisfy customer needs.

Responsibilities:

●       Establish and continuously improve the overall V&V process in compliance with the quality criteria set by the organization

●       Prepares the V&V roadmap (including test automation) in line with the organization’s priorities and objectives

●       Responsible for the on-time delivery of the product’s test strategy, test plans, test cases, and test execution.

●       Documents the risks and proactively implements the mitigation measures as required

●       Communicates proactively to/with various stakeholders on the current status of the product quality and the V&V status

●       Responsible for the delivery, performance, and people management of the cross-functional V&V team

●       Responsible for the upkeep and improvement of the test infrastructure

●       Actively participates in design discussions with various stakeholders to continuously improve the product

Required Skills:

●       Good Understanding of industry standards such as IEC 62304 for testing medical devices and IEEE 730 for Software QA Processes

●       Good understanding of Test Lifecycle, SDLC, Agile, Defect life cycle, etc

●       Prior Experience in designing/implementing/delivering test automation projects to improve the efficiency of the V&V process

●       Working knowledge in CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins 

●       Understanding of test management and project planning tools like Jira

●       Strong aptitude, proactive communication, and an ability to learn fast.

●       Open to relocate to Bangalore

●       Open to travel internationally

Qualification:

●       Bachelors / Masters in Engineering / Master's of Science

●       12+ years of experience in System testing of healthcare equipment/ medical devices / industrial grade products / critical infrastructure

●       2+ years of experience in managing a V&V team
