Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate UI Developer to join our team and craft beautiful, user-friendly, and high-performing web applications. You'll leverage your expertise in modern frameworks like Next.js and React, alongside a keen eye for design, to translate user stories and mockups into intuitive and engaging interfaces. The ideal candidate possesses a collaborative spirit and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop user interfaces (UIs) for web applications using Next.js and React.
  • Utilize Tailwind CSS to build consistent, responsive, and visually appealing UI components.
  • Collaborate closely with backend developers and designers to bridge the gap between design and functionality.
  • Implement data fetching and manipulation strategies using Next.js data fetching and Prisma to connect the UI to the backend.
  • Optimize application performance for a smooth user experience across various devices.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the development workflow.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest frontend development trends and technologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience building web applications with a focus on frontend development.
  • Proficiency in Next.js, React (ES6+), and JavaScript.
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and web accessibility guidelines (WCAG).
  • Experience with Tailwind CSS or similar utility-first CSS frameworks.
  • Familiarity with relational databases (like PostgreSQL) and data fetching ORMs (like Prisma).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress).
  • Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand).
  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • A portfolio showcasing your UI development skills and design sensibilities.
