Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gastroenterologist to join our team at Dr. Moopens Medical College. This is a full-time position and the ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in the field. The job location is in Wayanad, Kerala, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• Medical degree from a recognized institution
• Valid medical license to practice
• Completion of a residency program in internal medicine
• Fellowship training in gastroenterology
• Board certification or eligibility for certification in gastroenterology
• Strong knowledge and understanding of gastrointestinal diseases and disorders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Ability to work well in a team
• Commitment to providing quality patient care

Roles and Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat patients with disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, and pancreas
• Perform endoscopic procedures such as gastroscopies, colonoscopies, and ERCPs
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as imaging studies and laboratory tests
• Provide comprehensive and compassionate care to patients with gastrointestinal conditions
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
• Keep accurate and up-to-date medical records of patients
• Stay current with advancements in the field of gastroenterology
• Participate in departmental meetings and conferences
• Contribute to research and academic activities
