We are seeking a dedicated EEG Technician / Neuro Technician to join our team at Dr. Moopens Medical College in Wayanad. This is a full-time, junior-level position requiring 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of neuro technology and related fields, and be prepared to contribute to our healthcare team with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Qualifications and Skills

• Candidates must hold a Bsc in Neuroscience Technology (Mandatory skill) to ensure a solid educational foundation in relevant principles.
• A Diploma in Neuro Technology (Mandatory skill) is required to demonstrate specialized knowledge in neuro-technician practices.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis to interpret EEG data and support clinical decisions.
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques to enhance the analysis and assessment of neurological data.
• Experience in Python programming for efficient processing and management of neurophysiological data.
• A high level of dedication to maintain focus and consistency while handling sensitive medical equipment and patient data.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate recording and analysis of EEG results and related diagnostic data.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with the medical team, patients, and their families.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Operating EEG and related neurodiagnostic equipment to capture high-quality data.
• Analyzing and interpreting EEG results under the supervision of a neurologist or healthcare provider.
• Ensuring the proper maintenance and calibration of neurodiagnostic equipment.
• Recording patient histories and symptoms to assist with the diagnostic process.
• Preparing detailed reports based on EEG findings to support clinical diagnoses.
• Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to all regulatory and institutional guidelines.
• Educating patients and their families about procedures and addressing any questions or concerns.
