Job Description for Motion Graphics Designer
Responsibilities
- Create and design various materials for digital and print.
- Develop concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout.
- Work with a wide range of media and graphic design software.
- Create visualizations that convey accurate messaging for the project.
- Creating motion designs for social media platforms such as Meta and Instagram.
Job Qualifications and Skill Sets
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a creative field
- Proficiency in programs such as Adobe Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, QuarkXPress, and Illustrator, Figma
- Three or more years of experience in professional graphic design, preferably with a creative or marketing agency
- Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and web
- Experience with both print and digital media
- Experience in video editing software (Filmora, adobe Premiere)
