The Online Bidder is responsible for generating business opportunities by actively bidding on online platforms such as freelancing websites, job boards, and other digital marketplaces. This role involves preparing compelling proposals, interacting with clients, and collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to secure projects and contracts.


Responsibilities:


  1. Bid Preparation:
  • Identify and analyze potential projects and opportunities on online platforms.
  • Create well-crafted and persuasive proposals tailored to client requirements.
  • Highlight the company's strengths, capabilities, and value proposition in bids.

2.Client Interaction:

  • Engage with clients via messaging, calls, and virtual meetings to understand project needs.
  • Address client queries, provide clarifications, and showcase expertise.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with clients to foster long-term partnerships.

3 Market Research:

  • Research industry trends, competitor offerings, and client needs to stay informed.
  • Adapt bidding strategies based on market insights to increase chances of success.

4 Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with the sales and marketing teams to align bidding strategies with overall business goals.
  • Collaborate with team members to gather relevant information for proposal creation.

5 Negotiation:

  • Negotiate project terms, timelines, and budgets with clients to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Balance client expectations with the company's capabilities to ensure successful project execution.

6 Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of bids, interactions, and outcomes in the company's CRM or project management system.
  • Update and share bid-related information with relevant stakeholders.

7.Follow-up:

  • Follow up with clients after proposal submission to address any additional questions or concerns.
  • Keep clients engaged and informed throughout the decision-making process.

8.Targets and Reporting:

  • Meet or exceed bid-related performance targets set by the company.
  • Provide regular reports on bid activity, success rates, and areas for improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as an Online Bidder or in a similar role within the digital marketplace.
  • Strong understanding of online bidding platforms and their dynamics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Persuasive writing ability and attention to detail in proposal creation.
  • Proficiency in using project management tools and CRM systems.
  • Negotiation and client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Market research skills to identify potential projects and tailor proposals.
  • Familiarity with industry trends and technologies relevant to the company's offerings.
