We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Online Bidder to join our Business Development team. The Online Bidder will be responsible for generating business opportunities and revenue through bidding on online platforms and marketplaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of online bidding processes, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with clients.


Responsibilities:


Platform Engagement:

  • Identify suitable online platforms, freelancing websites, and other digital marketplaces for bidding.
  • Create and manage profiles on relevant platforms, showcasing the company's portfolio and services.

Bid Preparation:

  • Review project listings and identify potential projects that align with the company's expertise.
  • Craft tailored, compelling, and professional bids that highlight our capabilities and solutions.
  • Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to gather necessary information for bid creation.

Client Interaction:

  • Interact with clients through platform messaging, emails, and calls to understand project requirements.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries, provide clarifications, and maintain a consultative approach.

Proposal Development:

  • Prepare comprehensive project proposals that address client needs, timelines, and budgets.
  • Clearly articulate the value proposition and unique selling points of our services.

Negotiation and Closing:

  • Negotiate project terms, pricing, and contractual agreements with clients.
  • Follow up with clients to answer questions, alleviate concerns, and secure project contracts.

Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by providing exceptional service.
  • Seek opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services to existing clients.

Market Research:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and competitor offerings.
  • Adapt bidding strategies based on market insights to increase success rates.

Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of bidding activities, interactions, and outcomes.
  • Provide regular reports to management on bid performance and pipeline status.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven track record of success in online bidding and business development.
  • Strong understanding of online bidding platforms, market dynamics, and client behavior.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with persuasive writing abilities.
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to navigate client discussions effectively.
  • Proficiency in using freelancing platforms, project management tools, and CRM systems.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to create accurate and professional proposals.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple bids simultaneously.
  • Market research skills to identify potential projects and opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
