Technical Skills required to perform the Role of Draftsman

1. DN should have Knowledge of AUTOCAD, Sheet Setting and Arrangement, Working in

Model and Layout, Scheduling of Members, Printing, Detailed Knowledge Drafting,

Layering, Sheet and Scale Standards at Gokani etc

2. DN Should be able understand and execute independently in AUTOCAD (under verbal

guidance of DE / SDE / PM / SPM as well as SDN / MDN) the following :

i. Understand basic floor levels and differences

ii. Prepare small sections

iii. Colum size reduction / key plans of easy to medium complexity

iv. Colum schedule and details of easy to medium complexity

v. Beam schedule and elevations of easy to medium complexity

vi. Insertion of general details in sheets

vii. Easy to medium complexity UGT / OHT / LMR detailing

viii. Detailing of footings, rafts, pile caps without basements

3. DN should have functional knowledge of layouts and levels of structures.

4. DN should have functional understanding of General Details of Gokani

5. He should be good at internal communication.

Qualifications: Generally 1 to 3 years of experience
