Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Tester to join our team. As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for manual and automated testing of various software applications and systems. This is a full-time position based in Mohali, Punjab, India. Qualifications and Skills
- 2 to 3 years of experience in software testing, including manual and automation testing
- Strong knowledge of manual testing techniques, methodologies, and tools
- Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestComplete
- Hands-on experience with web testing, mobile application testing, and software testing techniques
- Familiarity with Agile development processes and tools like JIRA
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing of software applications to ensure they meet quality standards
- Write and execute test cases, track defects, and report test results
- Conduct functional, integration, regression, and performance testing
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify software issues and suggest improvements
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using testing tools and frameworks
- Identify and document software defects, and work with the development team to resolve them
- Participate in Agile development processes and provide feedback on software functionality
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in software testing
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process
