Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Human Resources Intern to join our team in Mohali. This is an excellent opportunity for a fresher looking to gain hands-on experience in HR. The role is full-time, designed for candidates with 0 to 6 months of work experience. As an HR Intern, you will gain exposure to various HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Recruitment (Mandatory skill): Ability to assist in identifying and attracting top talent for various roles within the company.
  • Communication Skills (Mandatory skill): Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with candidates and team members.
  • Screening (Mandatory skill): Proficiency in evaluating resumes and conducting initial interviews to shortlist suitable candidates.
  • Onboarding: Familiarity with onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Employee Relations: Basic understanding of building and maintaining positive relationships within the workforce.
  • HR Policies: Knowledge of standard HR policies and practices in a corporate environment.
  • Data Entry: Accuracy and efficiency in maintaining employee records and HR databases.
  • Microsoft Office: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for HR tasks.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process including job posting, resume screening, and conducting initial interviews.
  • Support the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and orientations are conducted.
  • Help maintain employee records and update HR databases with new hire information.
  • Participate in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in organizing company events and employee engagement activities.
  • Provide support for employee relations activities, helping to address employee inquiries and concerns.
  • Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
  • Contribute to various HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving overall HR processes and employee satisfaction.
