Key Responsibilities of a Freight Broker:

Generate leads and attract prospects, while maintaining relationships with current clients to develop a robust sales pipeline.

Coordinate with authorized and reliable carriers to meet shipping needs, ensuring seamless communication between shippers and clients.

Acquire new business through various methods such as online research, data mining, prospecting, and cold calling.

Contract with freight shipping carriers, negotiating favorable rates and services to meet customer requirements.

Focus on achieving profitable objectives while delivering high-quality service to clients.
