Job Title: ESG Officer

Job Location: Kanjumarg (W), Mumbai

This vacancy is for our Client, a Reputed Listed Company that is among one of India's leading textile and specialty chemical manufacturers.

Job Overview: 

The position will be responsible for integrating sustainability across other business units, rolling out new sustainability initiatives, ensuring timeliness of plans and implementation of internal sustainability goals and milestones.

 She / he would also be responsible for working towards improving the organization & ESG performance.

Job Description : 

• Ensuring that the company complies with applicable ESG regulations and standards.
• Develop and implement ESG strategies and programs that comply with the letter and spirit of regulations and standards.
• Develop and manage plans to reduce and manage ESG risks and environmental impacts.
• Prepare reports and documents to communicate the company's ESG progress and performance such as BRSR.
• Develop and communicate ESG practices and policies and ensure compliance.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to determine ESG factors that may affect business activity.

Desired Education : 

Bachelors in Environment / Sustainability / Climate Change / ESG / related fields;

Masters in related fields preferred but not necessary

Desired Skill set : 

Candidate should be proficient with sustainability reporting standards (such as BRSR, GRI, TCFD, SASB, IR, WEF-IBC) and ESG rating methodologies, indices, and agencies (such as amp;P, MSCI, Refinitiv, CDP, Sustainalytics)

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Candidates with a rich mix of corporate and consulting experience preferred

Desired Experience : 5-10 years of experience in sustainability / ESG domain

CTC: 15 LPA ( Can be a Negotiable For Relevant Experience Candidates)
