Solar Roofs is seeking a meticulous and proactive Research Assistant to support the

Director in strategic planning, data analysis, and market research for the advancement of our

rooftop solar installation business. The Research Assistant will be responsible for providing

critical research, insights, and recommendations on the latest trends in renewable energy,

competitive landscape, and operational efficiencies. This role requires excellent research

skills, attention to detail, and the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

 Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging

technologies in solar energy.

 Gather, analyze, and present data on market dynamics, regulatory changes, and

potential growth opportunities in the renewable energy sector.

 Prepare detailed reports, executive summaries, and presentations for the Director.

 Assist in developing strategies by providing insights based on research and data

analysis.

 Monitor government policies and subsidies related to solar energy and evaluate their

impact on the business.

 Support Director’s decision-making by providing timely, accurate, and concise

information.

 Collaborate with internal teams to gather data and coordinate research efforts.

 Manage databases and research tools, ensuring data integrity and security.

Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Renewable Energy, Environmental

Science, or a related field.

 Proven experience in a research or analytical role, preferably in the renewable

energy or sustainability sector.

 Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.

 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

 Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex

information into clear, actionable insights.

 Self-motivated, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality

work.

Preferred Qualifications:

 Master’s degree or additional certifications in data analytics, market research, or

energy studies.

 Familiarity with solar energy, government policies on renewable energy, and

environmental impact assessment.
