Job Overview:
As the Export Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our international business by identifying new markets, developing strategic partnerships, and ensuring seamless export operations. Your expertise in international sales, market analysis, and relationship building will be instrumental in achieving our global expansion goals while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Market Expansion:
- Identify and evaluate potential international markets for our laminates, considering factors such as demand, competition, regulations, and cultural nuances.
- Develop market entry strategies and business plans tailored to specific regions, in collaboration with the sales and marketing teams.
- Sales and Business Development:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with international distributors, wholesalers, and clients to drive sales and brand visibility.
- Lead negotiations for sales contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Export Operations:
- Oversee all aspects of export logistics, documentation, and compliance to ensure smooth and timely shipments.
- Collaborate with the logistics and operations teams to optimize transportation, customs clearance, and delivery processes.
- Market Analysis and Intelligence:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in international trade regulations to make informed strategic decisions.
- Provide regular market analysis reports and insights to the leadership team to guide business strategy.
- Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality control, and finance to ensure alignment and effective execution of export activities.
- Provide guidance and support to the sales team to ensure consistent messaging and strategies across different markets.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with key international customers, addressing their needs, concerns, and feedback promptly.
- Act as the primary point of contact for international clients, ensuring exceptional customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in International Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in international sales, export management, or related roles within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of successfully expanding market reach and driving international sales growth.
- Strong understanding of export regulations, documentation, and logistics.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market trends and data.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for managing international sales and logistics.
- Adaptability and cultural sensitivity for effective communication with diverse international stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
