1.Handing over and taking over. Check equipment functioning, medications and documentation properly.Assessment of the patient is must.

2.Maintain soft skill to the patient and the co-workers

3. Vital signs checking and recording

4. Giving medication to assigned patients.

5.  Attend rounds with consultants, note down the present condition of patient and carry out the instructions.

6. The operating procedure, nursing procedure and the equipments in the ward must be known.
