Job Overview

As a Junior Operations Manager at DesignCafe, you will be integral to executing the company’s mission to deliver world-class home interiors to Indian homeowners. The role is based in Bangalore and requires 1 to 3 years of work experience. This is a full-time position, perfect for candidates who possess essential skills in woodworking, measurement, and tool handling. You will be responsible for overseeing various operational tasks to ensure efficient production and delivery of interior design projects.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in woodworking (Mandatory skill) with an understanding of various types of woods and their applications.
• Expertise in precise measurement (Mandatory skill) to ensure accuracy in all operational tasks.
• Must be skilled in tool handling (Mandatory skill) including both manual and power tools for efficient execution of tasks.
• Experience in construction processes and methodologies.
• Strong awareness of safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints to guide project execution.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges effectively.
• Keen attention to detail to ensure high-quality output in all aspects of the job.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Coordinate with design and production teams to ensure timely completion of interior design projects.
• Oversee woodworking tasks including cutting, assembling, and finishing to industry standards.
• Ensure precise measurements are taken and adhered to throughout production and installation processes.
• Manage tool inventory and ensure all tools are in good working condition.
• Supervise on-site construction and installation work to ensure adherence to designed blueprints.
• Implement and enforce safety guidelines and protocols within the workplace.
• Diagnose and resolve any operational issues that may arise during project execution.
• Maintain quality control by performing regular inspections and audits of ongoing work.
