Job Overview

We are currently hiring for the role of SAP ABAP Consultant on a contract-to-hire basis. This is a senior-level position requiring 7 to 10 years of experience. The consultant will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining ABAP programs to support our client's SAP system. The role is based in Pune, Maharashtra and offers a competitive salary range.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7 to 10 years of experience as an SAP ABAP Consultant
• Strong knowledge of ABAP programming language and SAP modules
• Experience in developing and maintaining ABAP programs for the SAP system
• Good understanding of SAP functional areas and integration points
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and propose efficient technical solutions
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain ABAP programs to meet business requirements
• Design and optimize SAP ABAP solutions to improve system performance
• Collaborate with functional consultants and end-users to gather requirements
• Perform system testing and debugging of ABAP programs
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers
• Stay updated with the latest SAP ABAP technologies and best practices
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and standards
