Job Overview

We are hiring a Billing Engineer in Construction with 1 to 3 years of experience. As a Billing Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting billing invoices for construction projects. This is a full-time position based in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• 1 to 3 years of proven experience as a Billing Engineer in the construction industry
• Proficient in Excel, billing software and tools
• Strong knowledge of estimation techniques and quantity surveying
• Familiarity with BBQ (Bar Bending Schedule) and BBS (Bar Bending Shape) preparation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of contractor billing processes and documentation
• Sound understanding of civil engineering principles

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and detailed billing invoices for construction projects
• Review project documents, contracts, and purchase orders to ensure accurate billing
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary billing information
• Track and monitor project costs, labor hours, and materials used
• Verify billing amounts with completed work and ensure compliance with contract terms
• Resolve billing discrepancies and issues in a timely manner
• Prepare and submit monthly progress reports to the management team
• Maintain organized and up-to-date billing records and documentation
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely payment collection
• Stay updated with industry trends and regulations related to construction billing
