Job Description for Social Media Virtual Assistant
We are looking for a Social Media Virtual Assistant who can enhance our brand and build strong online communities through our various social media platforms. The Social Media VA will be responsible for developing and administering social media content that is designed to engage users and create an interactive relationship between consumers and the company. The successful candidate will also be required to collect and review social media data to develop more effective campaigns.
Responsibilities :
- Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos, and news).
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries promptly, and monitor customer reviews.
- Delivering results on key performance metrics.
- Developing and implementing strategies for companies' social media pages with a primary focus on YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, & Instagram.
- Monitor SEO, SEM, and web traffic metrics.
- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions.
- Design, and manage Social media Advertising campaigns and implement social media strategy to align with business goals.
- Social Media management
- Content creation, Email Marketing, Lead Generation, Lead Formatting
- Google Ad and Meta Ad knowledge
- Strategy Building for Ads and Promotional materials
- Document handling
- Research and building own content
- Comfortable with project management tools like Asana, Monday.com, Pipedrive, etc.
- Solid knowledge of Canva
- Data Administration and Management
- Develop monthly reports on emerging social media trends and Stay up-to-date with current technologies in social media, design tools, and applications.
- Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices.
Job Qualifications and Skill Sets:
- 2+ years of work experience as a Social Media Virtual Assistant and also experience in digital marketing.
- Master’s degree in marketing, digital marketing, internet marketing, email marketing, content marketing, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in content management.
- Experience with Google, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube Ads
- Excellent copywriting skills.
- Knowledge of digital marketing channels.
- Knowledge of software e.g. Hootsuite, Buffer, Canva, Tailwind, Sprout Social, Meetedger, Hashtagify, keyhole, Trends Map, Ahrefs, Stackedit, one tab, Stay Focused, todo List, Google Adsense, mailer lite, Mailchimp, etc. will be an addition.
- Familiarity with web design.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Analytical and multitasking skills.
