Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Learning and development Training Manager to join our team. The Training Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing training programs for our employees across various departments and also enhancing employees’ skills, knowledge, and performance within an organization. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for continuous learning and development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive training plans and strategies to meet the learning and development needs of employees.
- Design and deliver training programs using a variety of formats such as virtual workshops, e-learning modules, webinars, and in-person sessions (where applicable).
- Collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts to identify training needs and create relevant content.
- Design engaging and interactive training materials, including e-learning modules, workshops, and manuals.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics to make continuous improvements.
- Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and ensure all training materials are up-to-date and accessible to employees.
- Organizing employee engagement Activities, and conducting Orientation programs for new joiners.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to enhance training methodologies.
- Monitor and report on training program ROI, effectiveness, and employee performance improvements.
- Conduct training sessions for employees at all levels, ensuring content relevance and effectiveness.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Continuously improve training programs based on feedback, industry best practices, and emerging trends.
- Stay updated with industry advancements and incorporate relevant technologies and methodologies into training programs.
- Support employee development initiatives, including mentoring programs, career pathways, and skill assessments.
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Training and Development, HR Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven 3+ years of experience as a Training Manager or similar role in a remote-based or service-based organization.
- Strong understanding of learning principles, instructional design, and training delivery methods.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead the training and development department and motivate employees, fostering a culture of learning and development.
- Proficiency in using learning management systems and e-learning authoring tools.
- Experience in evaluating training effectiveness and analyzing data to drive decision-making.
- Certifications in training and development (e.g., CPLP, CPTM) are desirable but not mandatory.
