Job Overview
Chennai Urology And Robotics Institute is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Receptionist. This is a full-time, junior-level position located in Chennai, requiring a work experience of 1 to 3 years. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing front desk operations and providing excellent customer service, supporting the institute’s commitment to exceptional healthcare delivery.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in using multiline phone systems to manage incoming and outgoing calls effectively (Mandatory skill).
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite to perform daily administrative tasks efficiently.
- Experience with customer relationship management software to maintain and update patient and client information.
- Ability to use scheduling software to organize appointments and manage front desk schedules.
- Familiarity with document management systems for handling patient records and hospital documents efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of accounting software to assist in managing invoices and payments at the front desk.
- Competency in email communication tools to correspond effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with visitor management systems to ensure efficient and secure management of patient and visitor access.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk by greeting patients and visitors in a courteous and friendly manner, directing them to appropriate staff or departments.
- Answer and direct phone calls promptly using multiline phone systems, ensuring clear and accurate communication.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, coordinating with medical staff to optimize patient flow and reduce wait times.
- Maintain patient records and ensure all data is entered accurately into hospital information systems.
- Assist with billing and payments at the front desk, verifying insurance details, and processing service payments efficiently.
- Ensure the reception area is clean and conducive to providing a welcoming environment to all visitors.
- Respond to patient inquiries, providing necessary information and resolving any issues within scope of authority.
- Support administrative tasks such as document preparation, correspondence handling, and meeting logistics.
