Job Brief:

We are looking for an experienced US Accountant to join our US Accounting & Taxes department. You’ll be responsible for preparing & reviewing US Tax Returns [1040, 1065, 1120, 1120-S]. Our ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of Tax Preparation & Review. Previous work experience, along with a degree in Accounting is required for this role.

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate outsourced US Tax preparation work with Client [1040, 1065, 1120, 1120-S etc.]
2. Prepare and Review US Individual & Corporate tax returns with appropriate schedules [1040, 1065, 1120, 1120-S] in Tax Software
3. Foreign Compliance forms like Form 5471, Form 5472
4. Prepare Multi State Tax Returns
5. Find tax solutions to complicated tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings
6. Make sure that clients comply with federal, state, and local tax regulations
7. Advise on the impact of tax liabilities and corporate strategies or new tax laws
8. Identify legal tax savings and recommend ways to improve profits

Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:

1. Thorough knowledge of accounting and financial procedures
2. Thorough knowledge of preparing and reviewing US Individual & Corporate tax returns
3. Knowledge & understanding of IFRS, U.S GAAP accounting framework
4. Knowledge of US Multi State Taxes
5. Experience with US tax software Pro-series, Ultra-tax, Drake, CCH, Lacerte, Go System etc.
6. Experience with US Accounting Software Quickbooks, Xero etc.
7. Advanced MS Excel knowledge (familiarity with formulas, VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
8. Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
9. Good verbal & written English communication skills.
10. Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat. - WORK FROM OFFICE (3:00 PM to 12:00 AM - 5 days)
