Education & Skills Required :
- BE/Btech/MBA
- 15+ years of work experience in a top tier software company in Product Management/Business Analysis for Core Banking and financial Applications
- Good experience in creating product roadmaps, user stories, planning or releases and market study to build products for large financial institutions.
- SME in building and/or implementing CBS (Core Banking System)- must have.
- Excellent knowledge of Core/ Central Banking function with a good understanding of front, middle and back-office applications
- Customer centric mindset that applies design thinking principles
- Strong practical, working knowledge of Agile SDLC and experience in inbound and outbound product management firm or software product company is highly preferred.
- Strong documentation and analysis skills
- Strong management, analytical and people skills
- CSPO / Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) PO/PM certification and/or experience is a plus.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the gathering, analysis, and prioritization of product requirements for the Core Banking System, acting as the key product expert.
- Manage the product requirements lifecycle, including development and release processes.
- Contribute to the Product Roadmap by monitoring industry innovations, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics.
- Define the scope and detail product backlog items (epics/features/user stories) to guide development and prioritize tasks.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure comprehensive testing of new software prior to deployment.
- Ensure compliance with established metrics, deadlines, and reporting requirements set by management.
- Drive the creation and upkeep of various product collateral/documents, such as presentations, training materials, brochures, FAQs, user guides, and demos.
- Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and conduct End User Trainings.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior business analysts within the team.
