Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Ensure WordPress websites are secure, scalable, and performant.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance website functionality.
• Debug and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and project managers.
• Conduct website performance monitoring and optimization (loading speed, SEO).
• Implement custom database structures and handle large datasets.
• Ensure the websites comply with web standards, accessibility guidelines, and best practices.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 3+ years in back-end WordPress development.

Proficiency:

• Strong PHP and MySQL expertise.
• Experience with custom WordPress theme and plugin development.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party integrations.

Tools & Technologies:

• Git version control and CI/CD workflows.
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
• Knowledge of modern frameworks like React/Node.js is a plus.
• Strong understanding of website security practices.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
