Overview

Our client seeks a passionate Manual Tester to join their team! In this role, you'll be the guardian of quality, ensuring flawless software before launch. You'll meticulously test functionalities, usability, and potential bugs in both new and existing software. Your keen eye and insightful feedback will be instrumental in collaborating with developers to deliver top-notch programs that exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyse system specifications.
• Report and document technical issues.
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
• Report bugs and errors to development teams.
• Help with troubleshooting software issues.
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.
• Experience in project management and QA methodology.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
• Working knowledge of test management software (e.g.Jira).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
