Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced EDP & WEDM Operator to join our team at CRAFT MOLD (INDIA) PRIVATE LIMITED. As an EDP & WEDM Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) and Wire Electrical Discharge Machining (WEDM) equipment. This is a full-time position based in Poonamalle, Tamil Nadu, India, with a Junior: 1 to 3 years of experience.

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 1 to 3 years of experience operating EDM and WEDM machines
• Strong knowledge of electrical discharge machining processes
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools and instruments
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and precision
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Good communication and collaboration skills

Roles and Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) and Wire Electrical Discharge Machining (WEDM) equipment
• Set up and prepare machines for production according to specifications
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical instructions
• Perform quality control checks to ensure precision and accuracy of machined parts
• Monitor and adjust machine parameters for optimal performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
