Position: Trainer - IVR Surgery

Experience Required: 8 to 12 years

Shift: Flexible (General/Mid-shift)

Work Type: Hybrid

Location: Adyar, Chennai

Job Description

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Paramedical field.
  • Certifications: CPC (Certified Professional Coder) is required; LSBB (Lean Six Sigma Black Belt) is preferred.
  • Experience: 10-15 years of coding experience, with a strong background in IVR coding, particularly in cardiovascular and general surgery. At least 5+ years in coding and 3+ years in a team lead role.
  • Additional Certifications: CPMA (Certified Professional Medical Auditor) is an added advantage.
  • Location: Chennai

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience managing a Quality Assurance (QA) team is advantageous.
  • Strong leadership and team-handling skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to team issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in IVR coding.
  • Manage inventory and team planning, ensuring that production and quality goals are consistently met.
  • Provide guidance and support to the team, handling clarifications and fostering a positive, motivated work environment.
  • Demonstrate analytical skills in resolving complex coding issues and identifying trends.
  • Research grey areas to provide innovative solutions and support team education through regular training sessions.
  • Maintain client communication by addressing queries and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Ensure the team’s compliance with HIPAA, OIG, and other healthcare regulations.
  • Respond promptly to all managerial communications and project protocols.
