Job Title: Solution Architect (Ecommerce / Big Commerce)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect with expertise in e-commerce platforms, specifically Big Commerce. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust e-commerce solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems and deliver value to the organization.

Tech Stack:

• Frontend: JavaScript, React/Angular
• Backend: .Net, .Net Core, (good to have: experience with other backend languages)
• Database: SQL
• Cloud: AWS (Azure is a plus)

Key Responsibilities:

• Architecture Design and Development:Design and implement scalable, reliable, and high-performing e-commerce solutions on the Big Commerce platform.
• Lead the overall architecture for both frontend and backend, ensuring seamless integration.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ecommerce Domain Expertise:Possess deep knowledge of the e-commerce domain, including catalog management, product pricing, checkout process, and customer experience optimization.
• Design solutions integrating various e-commerce technologies like payment gateways, shipping solutions, and third-party plugins.
• Ensure high-level security and compliance for all e-commerce transactions.
• Cloud Infrastructure (AWS):Design and manage cloud-based e-commerce environments on AWS, focusing on scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
• Configure AWS services like EC2, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, etc.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Retail & E-commerce
• 6+ years of experience in technology domains (software development, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, data & analytics)
• 2+ years of experience designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructure
• 7+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience
• Expertise in one or more areas like Analytics, AI/ML, Generative AI, and Modernization (a plus)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to new technologies
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services
• Excellent understanding of microservices architecture, API design, and serverless computing
• Strong business acumen and ability to align technical solutions with business goals
• Experience with Agile/Scrum project management methodologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Preferred Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Big Commerce Certifications (Microsoft Azure optional)
