Should have work experience in Industrial project handling.

Mandatory:

Piping Material Engineer with specific Knowledge about Hydrogen piping system/Plant / Project. Preparation of specifications for

Piping, Valves and special parts. Knowledge of design and testing requirements related to hydrogen piping.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Is responsible for the quality, budget and respect of project schedule for piping material tasks

2)Reviews the Licensor and Client’s technical documentation and requirements

3)Is responsible for the design of all piping components

4)Issues project piping material specification and piping components data sheets

5)Performs wall thickness calculations of pipes

REQUIREMENTS:

A degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering with at least 5-12 years experience in major oil/gas projects in the capacity of

Piping Material and Specification Engineer in 3D detailed engineering environment.

Should have extensive expertise in developing piping material specification in generally used sofSP3D.

Must be fully aware about National & International codes and standards for this discipline.

Knowledge of Pipeline design codes ASME B31.4 & B31.8 would be added advantage

Special requirement :

Prior experience in making H2 service PMS

HIC related design principle to be aware of

Having knowledge of basic material related to H2 service, ASME B 31.12, Nielson curve partial pressure related requirement are to be quite familiar with

Having past experience with related Licensor requirement will be highly preferred

Prudent knowledge of CGA- G5.4 Standard for Hydrogen Piping Systems.

• Performs stress and support engineering related activities for assigned project and activity. Conversant with
• stress analysis of piping connected to various types of equipment like Column, tanks, exchangers, pumps/ compressors/ reactors etc.
• Conversant with requirements like trunnion calculation, flange leakage calculations, qualification of allowable nozzle loads etc.
• Provides resolution of technical issues related to stress and support engineering. Prioritization and planning of engineering activities and deliverables.
• Working knowledge of stress analysis tools like Caesar-II
• Exposure to the latest American and European standards and codes.

Strong knowledge of ASME B31.3 and other relevant codes and standards
