We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Senior Oracle DBA who has experience with multiple databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL with Oracle DBA. This full-time hybrid role is based in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle DBA, R12, PostgreSQL, MYSQL, R12.2, performance tuning, and database administration. The role demands a proactive individual who can maintain and optimize database systems in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as an Oracle DBA with proficiency in R12, showcasing a deep understanding of database systems.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and MYSQL, demonstrating the ability to manage and optimize these databases efficiently.
• Strong expertise in R12.2 environments, particularly in managing and maintaining database architecture.
• Excellent skills in performance tuning and optimization of databases to enhance the system's efficiency and reliability.
• In-depth knowledge of database administration, including backup, recovery, and security configurations.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex database issues and implement effective solutions.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey technical information to stakeholders.
• Experience with hybrid work environments and the ability to manage tasks effectively in such settings.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Oracle databases and ensure their optimal performance, security, and efficiency.
• Administer and support PostgreSQL and MySQL databases, ensuring they are well-integrated with Oracle systems.
• Perform database tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting to resolve performance issues promptly.
• Implement and oversee database backup, recovery, and security measures to protect data integrity.
• Collaborate with application development teams to ensure database architectures support business requirements.
• Develop and maintain database documentation, including design, configuration, maintenance, and integration protocols.
• Provide expertise and support to IT infrastructure teams in deploying new Oracle-related solutions.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in database administration for continuous improvement.
