Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Node.js Developer to join our team in Chennai on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in JavaScript and Node.js, with a passion for developing efficient and scalable server-side applications. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate within dynamic teams, enhance current systems, and drive innovative projects.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in JavaScript with a comprehensive understanding of ES6 syntax and features (Mandatory skill).
• Solid experience in building server-side applications using Node.js (Mandatory skill).
• Experience with Git version control system for collaborative development (Mandatory skill).
• Demonstrable knowledge of the Express.js framework for building web applications efficiently.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs architecture and their integration with front-end components.
• Strong grasp of asynchronous programming and its application in ensuring performance scalability.
• Experience with MongoDB and working with non-relational databases for data storage solutions.
• Competence in debugging and resolving runtime issues to enhance application stability.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop server-side logic ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability of applications.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using advanced JavaScript.
• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs to streamline communication between server and client.
• Ensure code quality, organization, and automation of workflow through version control systems.
• Minimize application downtime by identifying bottlenecks and devising corrective actions.
• Engage in continuous learning and participate in team meetings to contribute ideas for improvement.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for developed solutions and processes for future reference.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects within stipulated timeframes.
