Job Overview

As a Senior GCP Data Engineer at Covenant Consultants, this full-time, hybrid role is based in Chennai, Bangalore Urban, Bangalore Rural, Bangalore, and Hyderabad. The position requires a minimum of 7 years and a maximum of 10 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and maintaining GCP infrastructures to support business needs, fostering efficient data handling and processing solutions.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with a focus on data processing and storage strategies (Mandatory skill).
• Strong experience in Hadoop for large-scale data storage and processing solutions (Mandatory skill).
• Competence in scala for data manipulation and backend system development (Mandatory skill).
• Proven track record as a GCP Engineer with practical experience in cloud-based data platforms.
• Proficiency in python to create and enhance data processing workflows and automation scripts.
• Solid skills in sql for data querying, analysis, and database management tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities to design scalable data solutions within the GCP ecosystem.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic and evolving environment.

• Design, implement, and optimize GCP data infrastructure to support complex data initiatives.
