Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior GCP Data Engineer to join our team on a full-time, hybrid basis. This role is open for locations in Chennai, Bangalore Rural, Bangalore Urban, Bangalore, and Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in data engineering, focusing on handling complex solutions and data infrastructure.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a GCP Engineer, possessing a deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform and its services.
• Strong proficiency in python, with experience in designing and implementing data workflows and pipelines.
• Advanced knowledge of sql required for managing and optimizing data storage and extraction processes.
• Experience working with hadoop, scala, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (Mandatory skill), essential for managing big data projects.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand stakeholder needs and develop data-driven solutions.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial for identifying trends and patterns in data sets.
• Familiarity with data governance and data security best practices to protect sensitive information.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey complex data insights to stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data architectures that meet business requirements using Google Cloud Platform.
• Implement and maintain ETL processes that transform data from various sources into usable information.
• Work closely with data analysts and stakeholders to provide insights and solutions from complex data sets.
• Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the processing lifecycle by implementing robust validation checks.
