Job Overview

This opportunity is for one of the Big Manufacturing company. We are seeking a Junior Finance Analyst with expertise in MS Dynamics or PeopleSoft for an end-user role, based in Chennai. This is a full-time position that requires proficiency in financial analysis and reporting. The successful candidate will support financial operations and contribute to accurate month-end financial activities.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Dynamics or PeopleSoft for financial management and analysis in an end-user setting.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, manipulation, and visualization.
  • Experience in MIS reporting, ensuring timely and accurate management information is available for decision-making.
  • Proven ability in preparing and managing ledger accounts, ensuring financial transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.
  • Expertise in end-to-end month-end financial activities, including closing and reporting processes.
  • Experience in point of sale (POS) creation and integration with financial systems.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and clarity in financial data and reports.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and analyzing financial reports using MS Dynamics or PeopleSoft systems.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic planning.
  • Maintain and reconcile ledger accounts to ensure accurate financial data recording.
  • Prepare and submit MIS reports for management review and decision-making.
  • Ensure the timely completion of month-end financial closing activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and efficiencies.
  • Contribute to maintaining financial data integrity and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in financial reporting and analysis.
