• Take instructions from the Lead Engineer.
• Make use of all relevant software available such that the work carried out is cost effective and as per timelines.
• Perform in accordance with the relevant Discipline procedures, company procedures and codes and standards.
• Maintain the Project files in accordance with QMS procedures & Engineering Execution Plan such that they can be easily used by others in his absence.
• Ensure all engineering documents are concise and to the point.
• Liaise with Lead Engineer on commercial matters before taking actions.
• Ensure SDC & IDC reviews are performed in accordance with quality procedures.
• Interdiscipline coordination, Coordinate with Client and Vendors if required.
• Must ensure that technical data is adequate for vendor to supply suitable equipment.
• Implement various statutory requirements and standards.
• Prepare specifications, data sheets, calculations, schedules and reports.
• Prepare single line diagrams, interconnection diagrams, block diagrams and schematic diagrams.
• Prepare requisitions and technical bid evaluations
• To check various vendor drawing, layout drawings, detail drawings and MTOs
• To participate in various reviews, if required.
• To be familiar with the testing and inspection requirements.
• To guide drafting team
• Maintain master copy of all discipline deliverables.
