Purpose of the Role:


As a Lead of margining, port recs & dispute management team, the incumbent is responsible for providing direction

and leadership in managing the priority, productivity and accuracy of day-to-day operations of CCR (Cross Asset

Collateral and Risk Operations) within the Core Processing team vertical in accordance with the objectives

and plans of the BL for the year.

Responsibilities

The Margins, Port Recs & Dispute management teams within GSC CCR oversee the daily reconciliation of OTC

collateralized trades (under ISDA/CSA), and must ensure the fast and accurate correction of identified discrepancies,

relying on appropriate teams: TSU, Back-offices, MACC (in charge of valuation), external clients.

Delivery & Operational Excellence

• As a Manager for CCR, responsibility is to ensure that all margin calls notifications are issued as per the CSA

guidelines to clients and disputes are settled within a reasonable timeframe.

• Monitoring and ensuring the production quality in terms of the KPI & KRI are in line with global standard and

cash breaks are under control.

• Ensure collation and reporting of KRIs for CCR that provides clarity of the Volume, Notification time, SLA,

Incidents to stakeholders and management levels on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of the various reporting tasks, performed/generated using internal tools

and TriOptima

• Ensure all manual recs are performed accurately and in-line with the process requirements and breaks (if any),

are escalated and reported appropriately

• Ensure all ageing breaks and disputes are actioned in a timely manner by coordinating with appropriate

business partners (TSU, MACC, CCR on-shore, etc.).

• Identify and Monitor operational risks for critical function within CCR and make systematic reporting to all

stakeholders. Ensure that relevant controls are implemented and performed timely. Understand and educate

the team on internal controls and compliance processes along with and legal and regulatory requirements.

• Ensure strict adherence to internal and external process guidelines including compliance and legal to build and

maintain robust production and control environment.


Client Service Excellence

Collaborate with the Global CCR Managers & other stakeholders to ensure effectiveness of functional/regional

OVS governance is built and sustained over time providing clarity of roles and responsibilities.

• Conduct the stand-up meeting in more Client centric way including internal errors, Incidents, etc.

• Maintain and establish relationship with representation from MARK and OSM.

• Report and escalate any incident / alert to the management appropriately. Follow up with the relevant teams

and close all open breaks in a timely manner


People & Culture

• Staff development through strong engagement and training need analysis.

• Formulate career development plans for top talent and review on a periodic basis.

• Attrition management and recruitment of the replacement in a timely fashion.

• Staff performance appraisals on regular basis, regular 1 to 1’s should be conducted & documented.

• Effective delegation and oversight wherever appropriate.

Operational risk:

• Understand the scope of the process and highlight the risks to stakeholders

• Perform all controls timely and accurately

• Ensure high risk items / situations are escalated to management in a timely fashion. Ensure all risk incidents

are escalated to reporting / functional line manager in a timely fashion and are tracked till resolution.

• Transversal Initiatives: participate/execute various transversal initiatives like information security, Audit,

BCP etc. accordingly, apart from ensuring zero impact on normal BAU.

Internal & External interactions

Internal: CCR On-shore teams WW, FO, MACC, OPER BL, ITEC, Legal, RISQ, etc.

External : Clients, Counterparties, CCP, Vendors (Vermeg, TriOptima, etc.)

Expected Profile & Skills

• Good understanding of Collateral business and regulations

• Excellent knowledge on OTC derivatives products

• Excellent analytical skills

• Good communication skills (lot of interactions with clients, on-shore, business partners)

• Autonomy, pro-activity

• Good management of priority

• Capacity to work in transversal and complex environment


Qualifications

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance with 12+ years’ experience

• Solid experience in the IB environment and knowledge of overall collateral ops is extremely critical

• Ability to identify and develop strong working relationship with internal partners as well as external clients

• Successful customer service track record and the ability to foster a service-oriented work environment

• Proficiency in MS Office Tools (Excel, Word Doc, PPT, etc.)

2s+ years of people management experience; flexible to work in EMEA/US shifts

• Eye for detail and strong written and oral communication

• Excellent interpersonal skills
