Position Title Associate Product Manager

Reports to Product manager

Job Purpose:

  • An Associate Product Manager is a Holding a responsibility for the success of their assigned products across its PLC, in the assigned regions
  • Delivering top line, bottom line and ROI goals for the organization annually
  • Developing marketing and sales strategies required to achieve the current and future organizational goals.
  • Ensuring the product pipeline is steady and new products are introduced to market regularly
  • Training various stakeholders in enhance the knowledge and skill levels needed to achieve the goals


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

  • Product Pipeline
  • To develop & deploy the product strategy across the markets based on the PLC of the Product.
  • To be a knowledge repository, able to help in content development, new product training & technical assistance to the sales team & customers if necessary.
  • Set, & Monitor metrics such as sales number, customer adoption rates, and user engagement to assess the product's success.
  • Develop launch plan, Oversee product Marketing, manage product positioning.
  • Technical assist/Complaint handling
  • Track key performance indicators
  • Product Go-to-Market Strategy
  • To Provide, sales pitch, Value selling, FAQ & Objection Handling for their product Counts.
  • Assisting & approving the marketing based product pricing & in executing the Marketing Activities, and ensuring the ROI of the activity.
  • Make data-driven decisions
  • Oversee product marketing
  • Team management
  • Utilize data insights to inform product roadmap updates, feature enhancements, and future product development strategies.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop effective marketing campaigns that generate awareness and interest in the product.
  • Handling Product team, Marketing team and driving them towards execution.
  • Manage a product roadmap
  • This translates putting a strong plan, outlining key features, functionalities, and release timelines.
  • Training
  • Equipping and Ensuring the Sales team knowledge and to assist in developing the Training contents. To give clarification related to products as well as the surgical handholding.
  • Branding
  • To be brand guarding, and do all ethical countering to protect the brand and take all steps in developing the particular brand profit, image and to focus on Sales.
  • Regulatory
  • To work closely with regulatory & Sales team to develop the registration strategy, product registration responsibility, and to ensure the technical document Readiness.
  • New Product Development
  • To give market, Product insights in developing New products.
  • To prepare the Project document & to give the TPP for new products. To involve in clinical trials & Product improvement activities.
  • Market Visit
  • Should spend 50% of time in Market and to Meet and discuss & Meet with key opinion doctors to understand the product, market nature and device strategy according the problem.
  • Collaterals & Marketing Tools
  • To help preparing the marketing tools, Brochure, Content Creation, one pagers, Product Videos, Tech.Animation, sales aid, ready reckoners.

Internal Interactions

  • Sales team-To deploy the Market, product strategy, helping in achieving target, & technical Assistance if required.
  • Production or Division-To give rolling forecast, to under stock issues, to know about new product development, under product information.
  • Market Executives, Marketing Manager-To create the market strategy, To deploy market strategy,
  • Design Team- To work in content creation,

External Interactions

  • Dealer -in understanding the market reality, competitor landscape and to gather market information
  • With Customers (KOL)- to Communicate the product features, & engaging them in marketing activities., solving product complaints.

Position Requirements:

Educational Qualifications:

12+3/4+ MBA (BE with MBA is more preferable)

Experience:

MBA with 5+years of Sales experience in relevant Field, MBA with 5+ years of marketing experience in relevant field.

Competencies:

Technical understanding, Strong communication, Marketing knowledge, Critical & strategic thinking. negotiation., Training skill

Skill in understanding the Data, Marketing Content creation, Data analysis
