Job Title: AR Caller / Accounts Receivable Caller

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced AR Caller to join our team. As an AR Caller, you will be responsible for managing and resolving outstanding invoices, following up with clients to ensure prompt payments, and working closely with our billing department to support smooth and efficient cash flow. You will utilize your communication skills, attention to detail, and understanding of AR processes to minimize outstanding debts and maintain positive relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to insurance companies and other clients to collect outstanding payments and resolve unpaid claims.
  • Review and analyze account aging reports to prioritize accounts for collection.
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies, disputes, or denials by communicating with payers.
  • Document all communication details in the system, updating payment status and outcomes after each call.
  • Work with internal teams to clarify any issues related to payments, such as billing errors or documentation needs.
  • Escalate issues to management when necessary for unresolved claims or complex account issues.
  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly collection goals and KPIs.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (1-3 years) in AR calling, medical billing, or accounts receivable.
  • Strong knowledge of billing processes, insurance claims, and healthcare terminology (if applicable).
  • Proficient in MS Office and experience with billing software (e.g., EPIC, Medisoft, or similar).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations (if working in healthcare AR).
  • Experience working with U.S.-based clients, insurance companies, or providers.
  • Ability to adapt to new processes and software tools quickly.
