Job Summary:

As a Technical Architect in our Data Management and AI group, you will play a pivotal role in driving the execution of machine learning and Generative AI projects for various business functions at Johnson Electric. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy AI solutions that enhance business processes and deliver measurable value. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Architecture & Design: Lead the design and architecture of machine learning and Generative AI solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

·      Project Execution: Oversee the end-to-end execution of AI projects, from requirements gathering to deployment, working closely with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders.

·      Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with Manufacturing and Finance teams to identify business challenges and opportunities where AI can add value.

·      Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team, ensuring best practices in AI/ML development and deployment.

·      Technology Evaluation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies in AI/ML and Generative AI, evaluating their potential impact on business processes.

·      Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for AI architectures, models, and processes.

·      Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize AI models and workflows, incorporating feedback and lessons learned from projects.

Qualifications:

·      Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

·      Experience:

o experience in software architecture, with at least 4 years in AI/ML or data-centric roles.

o  Proven experience in designing and deploying machine learning models in a production environment.

o  Experience with Generative AI technologies and their application in business contexts.

·      Technical Skills:

o  Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.

o  Expertise in AI/ML frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.

• Strong understanding of Azure cloud platforms and its AI/ML services.
• Experience with data management tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL databases, ETL tools).
• Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools for continuous integration/deployment of ML models.

o  Proficiency in LLMs and Generative AI toolchains including RAG,

• Integrate AI models into existing toolchains and workflows.
• Utilize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques to enhance model capabilities.
• Knowledge of implement Agentic flows for complex multi-step tasks

o  Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

o  Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

o  Leadership abilities, with experience in managing or mentoring technical teams.
