Overview

The ideal candidate for this position is someone who wants to experience the adrenaline rush of building a customer-centric product and has previously worked in a fast paced, collaborative team environment.

The candidate will be working closely with the product and design team and should be a good communicator with both engineers and non-engineers alike.

Responsibilities

1. Develop distributed and scalable solutions for high-performance mobile banking app
2. Design, code, test, debug, and document programs as well as support activities for the corporate systems architecture
3. Develop tools for tracking, monitoring, and reporting the performance of our suite of server-side applications
4. Perform and manage stages of the SDLC and participate in the systems review with Co-Founder/ Manager
5. Work in sync with the Digital Partnerships team at our Partner Bank for API integrations with the Core Banking System (CBS)

Qualifications

1. Must have worked on Spring Boot, Java as an individual contributor.
2. Experience with DevOps and working knowledge of cloud platforms preferably AWS
3. Experience with Test Driven Development using TestNG/Junit testing frameworks is a plus
4. Experience / knowledge in Cluster Management Frameworks i.e Kafka, Elastic Search, Docker and database, build-and-test (preferred)
5. Demonstrated skills in problem-solving and decision-making
