Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable HR professional with a strong textile background to join our team in Karur, Coimbatore. This mid-level, full-time position requires 4-6 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in HR practices within the home textile sector and should possess excellent communication skills, and knowledge of Home textile social compliance and labor laws.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience of 4-6 years in human resources, particularly within the textile industry, ensuring an understanding of sector-specific challenges and opportunities.
- Strong knowledge of social compliance standards and practices, especially pertaining to the home textile manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in payroll processing and management to ensure timely and accurate salary disbursements and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Hindi to effectively manage negotiations and mediate among diverse workforce groups.
- In-depth understanding of labor laws and employment regulations, ensuring all HR policies are compliant and up-to-date.
- Demonstrated recruitment expertise with a preference for candidates with a background in textiles, capable of attracting and retaining top talent in the industry.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and engage with cross-functional units to drive organizational objectives.
- Preferred experience or exposure to the home textile industry, aligning HR practices with the specific needs and expectations of our sector.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle to attract, hire, and retain qualified candidates in the textile domain.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations, maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of recent changes and updates.
- Oversee payroll process, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining confidentiality and security of employee information.
- Implement social compliance initiatives to enhance the ethical and social standards within the workplace.
- Facilitate effective communication across departments, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Coordinate HR activities such as training sessions, workshops, and performance evaluations to foster employee growth and development.
- Develop and enforce company policies that align with Cotton Concepts' strategic goals and corporate culture.
- Support management in making informed decisions on HR-related issues, providing insights and counsel on strategic initiatives.
