Job Overview
Join Cotton Concepts as a Junior Business Development Executive in Home Textiles, based in Coimbatore. This full-time role requires 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience. You will be pivotal in enhancing our business growth by leveraging our unique design and development process.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in business development or related field within the textile industry, with at least 1 to 3 years in a similar role.
- Strong client relationship management (Mandatory skill), demonstrating excellent customer service and client engagement.
- Ability to travel to outlets for sales promotions and lead generation activities, ensuring effective field operations.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing terry towel marketing strategies to meet sales goals.
- Understanding of accounting principles and management information systems (MIS) relevant to warehouse stock and logistics.
- Strong sales acumen with experience in large format outlets to drive sales growth and expansion.
- Exemplary communication skills with proficiency in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam.
- Solid organizational skills with a knack for strategic planning and execution in complex environments.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective business development strategies to ensure the growth of home textile product sales.
- Maintain and develop strong client relationships, delivering tailored solutions to client needs and ensuring high satisfaction.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities through market research and analysis.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of client projects and initiatives.
- Regularly travel to outlets and engage in promotions and lead generation activities to expand market presence.
- Conduct market visits to large format outlets, fostering relationships and building partnerships for sales uplifts.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of warehouse stock, MIS, and logistics to optimize operations workflow.
- Monitor market trends and adjust business development tactics to align with competitive market dynamics.
