Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food & Beverage Captain to join our team at CO SO (Cocktails & Socials) in Nagpur. The role is a mid-level position requiring a minimum of 4 years of work experience in the industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests through effective leadership and coordination of the food and beverage service.


A restaurant captain, also known as a hotel captain, is responsible for managing the dining experience in a restaurant. Their duties include: 


  • Customer service: Ensuring guest satisfaction and providing exceptional customer service 


  • Staff management: Training, supervising, and mentoring restaurant staff 


  • Kitchen coordination: Coordinating with kitchen staff for smooth operations 


  • Inventory: Managing inventory and ordering supplies when necessary 


  • Cleanliness: Maintaining a clean and organized restaurant 


  • Guest interaction: Interacting with guests to enhance their dining experience 


  • Menu knowledge: Being knowledgeable about the restaurant's menu and offerings, and being able to answer any questions that guests may have 


  • Health and safety: Ensuring compliance with local health and safety regulations 


  • Restaurant captains should be well-groomed, physically fit, and customer-centric with excellent communication, observational, and team management skills. They should also be able to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
