Responsibilities:

·      Conceptualize, plan and execute events, from small gatherings to large launches and drives

·      Work with clients and stakeholders to determine the goals, objectives, and requirements of each event

·      Develop event concepts, themes, and programs that align with Porsche Centre Bengaluru’s objectives

·      Create budgets and timelines for each event and manage them throughout the planning process

·      Identify and secure event venues, catering, equipment, and other resources required for each event

·      Negotiate contracts and fees with vendors and suppliers

·      Coordinate and manage event logistics, including transportation, lodging, and entertainment

·      Develop marketing and communication plans to promote events and increase attendance

·      Work with graphic designers, copywriters, and other creatives to develop event collateral, such as invitations, flyers, and programs

·      Oversee the registration process and manage attendee data and feedback

·      Monitor event progress and troubleshoot issues that may arise during planning and execution

·      Ensure events run smoothly and within budget, and evaluate their success post-event

·      Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in event planning and management

Requirements:

·      Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, marketing, or a related field

·      4-5 years of experience in event planning and management

·      Strong project management and organizational skills

·      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·      Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

·      Proficiency in Microsoft Office- (Excel, word and PowerPoint)

·      Knowledge of automobile industry trends and best practices

·      Flexibility to work long and irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by events.
